Our Story

The MediaJel Foundation was launched in 2021 with the purpose of utilizing the power of compliant digital marketing and programmatic advertising to advance the creation and expansion of an equitable, ethical, and just cannabis landscape.

We are committed to affecting systemic and lasting change through increased market awareness, audience access, and economic opportunity. As a private foundation, we help the cannabis community use digital marketing to give fuel to the voices and works of people and organizations who are fighting on all fronts in support

of cannabis equity. This includes social impact, diversity, restorative justice, education, employment, and more.

We live our mission. We constantly ask how our choices support the larger cannabis community and advance fundamental understanding, equity, and liberty. Our passion for the people and shared principles within the cannabis movement drives us to work with great urgency to connect with others, cultivate positive market perception, and knock down barriers to economic opportunity – across each and every aspect of the cannabis environment.

What We Do

The MediaJel Foundation provides grant recipients with digital marketing services designed to advance their mission by bringing voice, reach, and awareness to their cause and their work. Selected organizations receive campaign funding, creative assistance, and execution management via the digital marketing, programmatic advertising, and data management

platform custom-built by MediaJel and powered by Smart AdServer.

To ensure our foundation affects the largest and most meaningful impact possible, administration costs are kept below 5% annually and we limit our engagement geographically and thematically.
